Birth pool rental

Many women seek water birth for their home births or would like a birth pool to labor in. WBS provides birth pool kits to individuals and local midwives so clients don’t have to purchase a brand new pool.

Birth pool rental includes:

  • Porch Delivery and pick up from your home.

  • Birth pool in a Box Regular, Mini, or Professional birthing pool, Mia Via Tranquility birth pool, Earthside Birth Pool, or self heating pool kit.

  • One unfitted hygienic disposable pool liner (required for use in everything but the heated pools)

  • NEW 25 ft. drinking quality fill hose (also used to drain)

  • Air pump and adaptors

  • Water Sump pump

  • Water bandit tap connector

  • Lighting Kit with remote

  • Stroller Fan

  • Fish net

  • Thermometer

  • Instructions for use

  • Instructions for return

Rental only (porch drop off/ pick up)

$200 for BPIAB/Mia Via/ Earthside

$300 Self Heating (AVAILABLE after March 2024)

Request a pool anytime up to two weeks prior to your due date. $100 deposit required to hold a pool. Pool delivery is usually scheduled during 35-36 weeks of gestation. After birth, call to arrange for porch pick up as soon as the pool is completely dry and packed in its container.

After return, pools are completely sanitized with hospital grade bleach and air dried in our AZ sun to make sure no germs are left behind. Self heating pools require more upkeep and filters—hence the price difference.

Larger sized pools are recommended for birthing people over 6 ft tall. The mini is large enough for me (5’ 7”) to sit on the seat and my toes to touch the other side. It is also big enough for me and my husband to both comfortably sit inside it together.
